Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan cocktail has its origins in the mid to late 1970s. The drink gained popularity in the 1990s after it was featured on the hit television show "Sex and the City." Today, the Cosmopolitan is a classic cocktail that is widely enjoyed and remains a staple in bars and nightclubs across the world. It is typically made with vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces of citron vodka
  • 3/4 ounces of Cointreau
  • 3/4 ounces of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3/4 ounces of cranberry juice
  • Lime Wedge
  • Ice from our Sunset Whiskey Co. collection

Steps

  1.  Add the vodka, Cointreau, lime juice, and cranberry juice into a shaker filled with mini ice cubes and shake well until chilled.
  2. Strain the concoction into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish it with a lime wedge.
